Handmade Wild Strawberry Leaf Bronze Print Necklace
Wild strawberry known as Sú talún fhián in Irish, as a native perennial found throughout Ireland.
A tiny wild strawberry leaf was collected during my travels in the Burren National Park on the west coast of Ireland. The delicate texture of this leaf was captured in a mould.
This eco friendly bronze strawberry leaf pendant necklace was handcrafted with the mould from start to finish using metal clay techniques.
Each pendant is strung in a PVD gold plated cable oval chain. It hangs at 18 inches but can easily be adjusted to a shorter length.
PVD also known as Physical Vapour Deposition is a high temperature eco friendly vacuum process to apply a thin layer of gold to stainless steel. It is 10 times thicker and more durable than traditional gold plating. It is scratch resistant, hypoallergenic and long lasting.
All of our bronze jewellery is handmade from bronze metal clay, an eco-friendly medium. It is made from recycled metals.
